After having a discussion with Matt Davies and others on Twitter today it became clear that many SEO’s are now getting increasingly frustrated by the way large brands can buy links without care whereas smaller brands get toasted.
Went to see a mate of mine yesterday and was aware of the fact that they didn’t have an easy way to see where a site ranked in Google so thought id post my quick way of keeping track

I miss the old days of creating made for Adsense sites then sitting back and watching the free money roll in. The reason most of us had to slow down from doing that was that Google started banning accounts for very soft reasons and taking all the money back.

I know its against Googles TOS but I couldn’t give a flying fish what they say. What I thought I would do is show you a snapshot from one batch of sites over a full year and discuss some of the ways in which I worked to get these results.

OK simple answer – dont do anything silly and have lots of accounts… Once in a while though youll get one of those helpful emails from the Adsense Team giving you a telling off and offerig some advice, in case you havent seen them heres the advice: -
